Thank you for supporting independent authors! These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase of signed books from our website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
- Orders and Payment
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payment through PayPal.
Payment Processing: Payment is charged immediately when you place your order.
Order Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation when your order is successfully placed. Please verify your shipping address in this email.
Cancellations: You may cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase by replying to your order confirmation email or contacting us directly. Once your order has shipped, cancellations are no longer possible.
Pricing: All prices are in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but any changes will not affect orders already placed.
- Shipping
Shipping Location: We currently ship within the United States only.
Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and paid by the customer. Free shipping is available on orders of 5 or more books.
Processing Time: Orders typically ship within 5-7 business days of purchase.
Delivery Time: Delivery times vary by location but typically range from 3-7 business days after shipment via USPS.
Lost or Damaged in Transit: If your think your package is lost in transit please contact us after two weeks from your order date. If your package arrives damaged, please contact us with your tracking number and a photograph. We will replace your order or issue a full refund.
Address Accuracy: You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. We cannot be held responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
- Product Description
Signed Books: All books are personally signed by author Kevin Pettway.
Personalization: You may request a personalized message (up to 50 characters) when placing your order. Please ensure spelling and details are correct in your order notes, as we will sign books exactly as requested (within reason).
Promotional Items: Occasionally, we may include promotional freebies with orders. These items are gifts and are not guaranteed with every order.
- Returns and Refunds
Personalized Products: Because each book is personally signed and/or personalized for you, all sales are final and we do not accept returns for change of mind or buyer's remorse.
Damaged or Defective Books: If your book arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 10 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will provide a replacement or full refund.
Wrong Item Sent: If we send you the wrong book or make an error with your order, please contact us within 10 days of delivery. We will correct the mistake with a replacement or full refund.
Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days and returned to your original payment method.
- Privacy and Email Communication
Order Emails: We collect your email address to send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and customer service communications related to your purchase.
Newsletter: You may opt in to receive our newsletter during checkout. This is entirely optional. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
Privacy: We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to process your order (e.g., payment processors, shipping carriers).

All content on this website, including book content, author signatures, images, and text, is the property of Kevin Pettway and Misplaced Adventures and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without written permission.
- Limitation of Liability
Misplaced Adventures and Kevin Pettway shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of our products. Our total liability for any claim related to your order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
- Disputes and Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms or your purchase will be resolved in the courts of Florida.

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
